Testimonials & Impact
“Scott goes above and beyond and he is so much more than a tutor; he is an incredibly thoughtful and compassionate teacher who unconditionally supported our son.”
“We first connected with Scott a year before we began our son’s application process to a set of competitive 7-12th grade schools. We sought a high-quality, one-on-one tutoring environment to help our son study for the ISEE. Within weeks of working with Scott, we discovered his unmatched capabilities not just in the depth of standardized test tutoring, but in deciphering exactly how our son learns and optimizing the teaching plan which ultimately led to an incredibly positive outcome. Scott homed in on topics that our son found most difficult, and he always succeeded in breaking through to help our son’s performance improve.
Scott took tremendous care to not only teach our son, but he focused on our son’s overall state of mind and mental health. Scott also helped us as parents maintain perspective throughout the process. He regularly communicated our son’s progress, areas of strength, and where he needed additional support. Scott goes above and beyond and he is so much more than a tutor; he is an incredibly thoughtful and compassionate teacher who unconditionally supported our son.”

Evidence of Impact
The early results confirm what I’ve long believed; when children feel truly seen & supported, remarkable transformations can happen quickly.
In just four weeks of holistic mentoring, one student experiencing OCD, ADHD, and anxiety moved from a D to a B+ in math. Not through drilling problems, but through learning to regulate their nervous system, approach mistakes with curiosity rather than harsh self-judgment, and by creating an at-home learning environment that reduced distractions and allowed them to focus on the learning material.
This transformation illustrates what becomes possible when students learn to work with their whole being rather than just their intellect. I’ve seen students who previously shut down during challenging tasks begin approaching difficult problems with genuine curiosity, children who were paralyzed by perfectionism start taking creative risks, & families who experienced daily homework battles transform into collaborative exploration.
Most importantly, these academic improvements coincide with deeper shifts: students discovering their unique gifts, developing unshakeable confidence in their ability to learn & grow, & beginning to sense their larger purpose in the world.
And this is just the beginning—every student we work with shows us new possibilities for what education can become.
